THEME OF THE YEAR.

"A Brand New Beginning"

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)

According to prophecy for the year 2026 as declared by our father in the Lord
(Daddy GO), we are in a season of a Brand-New beginning. To God be all the glory.
More so, in agreement with the above text, the Lord is set to do a new thing. Let us
put the ugly past behind us and be expectant for brand new things from the Lord, by
living a brand-new life of complete obedience in holy living, good works, in giving of
praises, thanksgiving and supplications.

STUDYING THE WORD OF LIFE

JOSHUA 1:8

This book of the law shall not depart not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do all that is written in it: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

JOHN 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life

2 TIM. 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

Are you weary, burdened, confused and troubled. it seems like life is not fair, Listen Jesus says to you

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance – Luke 5:32.

Come to me all of you who tired of carrying the heavy loads and i will  give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because i am gentle and humble in spirit ; and you will find rest. – Matthew 11:28-29

 PROPHECIES 2026Ezoic

Prophecies for 2026

GENERAL:

1. Daddy says 2026 will be more remarkable than 2025

2. Daddy says that the wind that has been blowing since 2024 will continue to blow more strongly than before.

3. Daddy said there will be more opportunities this year than last year – more breakthroughs, more successes, more victories and less failures.

4. Daddy says a lot of testimonies this year will begin with, “God remembered me at last!”

NIGERIA:
Concerning Nigeria, the prophecies are in two parts. I’m not sure I want to share the second part. I will pray more about that, of God gives the go ahead I may share the second part on Friday. But for now, He said:
1. This year there will be a reduction in hunger
2. Small and medium enterprises will begin to blossom
3. Daddy said something that I can only put down as reverse ‘japa’ – many who ‘japad’ (travelled) will come back home.
Like I said, that’s one part concerning Nigeria. The second part, I need to pray about that before I tell you.

 INTERNATIONAL scene he says:
1. The chance of a major war is less this year than last year
2. As far as the weather is concerned, he says the pattern will be similar to 2025 except there is the chance of a couple of major hurricanes.
RCCG: we will tell your pastors who will tell house fellowship leaders, who will tell you because what He is saying to you, I don’t want anybody else to know. You know, I just came across something on the internet. That someone was mocking us – they said we waste our time praying and fasting that God will not come down to fix Nigeria. He said so if anybody asks you to fast from January 11, he said, “don’t pay him attention.” I laughed!
You mean God is not answering our prayers? We are not asking Him to come down after all, Heaven is His throne, the Earth is His footstool. Bible says, it is the Almighty God that rules in the affairs of men. He is the one who decides the direction wind should blow. When He asked us to fast for a hundred days last year, it was because it was going to be a remarkable year and we have seen some results and I don’t want to talk much about Nigeria. So I can tell you at least one thing: if we are going to fast, we won’t begin on January 11. They are waiting for us to begin on January 11 – we will disappoint them. They are waiting to hear how many days – we won’t tell them. But just keep on praying like we have prayed this morning and by the grace of God, He will help us.

2026 – A BRAND NEW BEGINNING.

A BRAND NEW BEGINNING – JOSEPH

GENESIS 37-50

INTRODUCTION

The story of Joseph in Genesis (chapters 37–50) provides profound lessons on how God can take a life marked by betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment and give it a “brand new beginning” as a ruler. Joseph’s journey from the pit to the palace teaches that God works behind the scenes, transforming evil into good, and that faithfulness in adversity leads to divine promotion.

1)  God is Present in Every Location:
Whether in the pit, Potiphar’s house, or the prison, the Bible notes that “the Lord was with Joseph”. This assures us that we are never alone in our struggles.

2)  Adversity is Preparation: Joseph’s years in prison were not wasted time, but rather leadership training that prepared him for managing Egypt.

 3)  God Turns Evil into Good (“But God”)
• The Lesson: Regardless of the evil intentions or negative circumstances meant to destroy you, God has the power to orchestrate those same situations for your ultimate good and his glory.
• Joseph’s Example: Joseph explicitly told his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good” (Gen. 50:20).
• Application: When dealing with betrayal, injustice, or misfortune, believe that God is working behind the scenes to turn the situation into a blessing.

4) The “New Beginning” is Often Larger than our Own Dream.

• God Gives a Bigger Dream: Joseph likely dreamed of a comfortable life, but God gave him a role in saving the known world.

• God Uses Pain for Purpose: What others meant for evil, God used for good, transforming a “rags to riches” story into a, “slave to savior” story.

lessons we can learn from God who gave a brand new beginning to Joseph in Genesis

+29
The story of Joseph in Genesis (chapters 37-50) is a powerful narrative of divine providence, showing how God can take a person from the lowest pit to the highest palace. God’s act of giving Joseph a “brand new beginning”—transforming him from a forgotten prisoner into the ruler of Egypt—offers profound lessons on faith, character, and trusting God’s timing.

Here are the key lessons we can learn from Joseph’s new beginning:
1. God Turns Evil into Good (“But God”)

2. Character Matters More Than Circumstances
• The Lesson: God is less interested in our comfort and more interested in our character. He allows trials to build integrity, resilience, and faith.
• Joseph’s Example: In both Potiphar’s house and the prison, Joseph acted with integrity, refusing to sin against God, even when it cost him his freedom.
• Application: Maintain your integrity, even when no one is watching, and even when doing the right thing leads to temporary suffering.

3. God’s Timing is Perfect
• The Lesson: A new beginning often requires waiting. God’s timeline is rarely our own, but his delays are designed to prepare us for the responsibility of the promotion.
• Joseph’s Example: Joseph spent 13 long years in slavery and prison before becoming prime minister at age 30.
• Application: Do not become weary in well-doing; wait patiently for God’s appointed time, knowing that he has not forgotten you.

4. Forgiveness is the Key to Freedom
• The Lesson: Holding onto bitterness locks you in the past, but true forgiveness releases you to embrace the new beginning God has provided.
• Joseph’s Example: Instead of seeking revenge, Joseph forgave his brothers, recognizing that his suffering was part of a larger plan to save many lives.
• Application: Release those who have hurt you, and focus on the purpose God has for you rather than the pain others caused you.

5. God’s Presence is Your Real Success
• The Lesson: True prosperity is not determined by material possessions, but by the presence of God in your life, regardless of whether you are in a prison or a palace.
• Joseph’s Example: “The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man” (Gen. 39:2) — this was said while he was a slave in Potiphar’s house.
• Application: Focus on your relationship with God rather than your circumstances, knowing that his presence makes you successful in his eyes.

With great joy, i  welcome you all again into another Year themed A BRAND NEW BEGINNING.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) fasting starts on 01 Feb – 02 March 2026. Theme - A Brand New Beginning Year. This shall be our testimony in Jesus’ name. The RCCG Fast 2026 daily fast is for 30 days.

Prayer Points from RCCG January 2026 Holy Ghost Service
By Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

1. Thank God that He has kept you till now.

2. Ask Him to forgive you for your previous lukewarmness. You won’t take Him for granted anymore and you will be serious from now on. You won’t allow the comfort He has given you to drive you away from Him.

3. Father, now that my set time has come, arise and help me.

4. Father, from this very moment, let all those who are connected with my destiny begin to fulfil their purpose.

5. If there is still any form of jonah left in my life (laziness, pride, lukewarmness, incomplete obedience) blocking my way to complete victory, please help me uproot them.

6. Father, give me a brand new beginning to serve You now with all seriousness.

7. Father, like in the case of Naaman, let me become a testimony to the whole world.

8. Your personal prayer points

BIBLE TEXT: Exo 14:21-22

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD caused the sea to
go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
The Lord has declared through our Father in the Lord (Pastor E.A Adeboye) that:
“The Wind is Blowing”. The wind of God will surely reposition His children into  a brand new beginning for good and bring destruction to their enemies.

Remember that your brand new beginning will be determined by the fact that you are on God’s side.  Galatians 3:26.
